# What You Need:

→ Waffles

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
04 - ½ teaspoon salt
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 1¾ cups whole milk
07 - ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
08 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

→ Syrup Dip

09 - ½ cup pure maple syrup
10 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

→ For Serving

11 - Fresh berries (optional)
12 - Whipped cream (optional)
13 - Powdered sugar (optional)

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the waffle iron following the manufacturer's guidelines.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, beat eggs, then whisk in whole milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
04 - Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just incorporated; some lumps are acceptable to maintain batter lightness.
05 - Lightly grease the preheated waffle iron, pour approximately ½ cup batter per waffle, and cook each until golden brown and crisp, about 4 to 5 minutes per batch.
06 - Remove cooked waffles and slice each one into four equal quarters.
07 - In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter, then stir in maple syrup and warm for approximately 2 minutes without boiling.
08 - Arrange the waffle quarters on a serving platter with the syrup dip in a small bowl at the center. Accompany with fresh berries, whipped cream, or a dusting of powdered sugar if desired.
