09 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
10 - 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
11 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
12 - 1/2 cup light brown sugar
13 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
14 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly butter a 9-inch baking dish.
02 - Toss sliced apples with lemon juice in a large bowl. Add granulated sugar, light brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and flour. Mix until apples are evenly coated.
03 - Spread the apple mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
04 - Combine flour, rolled oats, softened butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt in a separate bowl. Blend with fingers or a pastry cutter until soft crumbs form.
05 - Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the apples.
06 - Bake for 40 minutes until topping is golden brown and apples are tender and bubbling.
07 - Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
