Pepperoni Stacked Square Crackers (Print)

Zesty pepperoni and melted mozzarella layered on crisp square crackers with optional parmesan and parsley topping.

# What You Need:

→ Crackers

01 - 12 square crackers (such as saltines or butter crackers)

→ Pepperoni & Cheese

02 - 24 slices pepperoni
03 - ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (60 g)
04 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

→ Garnish (Optional)

05 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
06 - ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven broiler to high, placing a rack approximately 6 inches from the heat source.
02 - Place the square crackers evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
03 - Top each cracker with two slices of pepperoni, slightly overlapping them.
04 - Sprinkle a generous pinch of shredded mozzarella cheese over the pepperoni on each cracker.
05 - Lightly dust the top with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
06 - Broil the assembled bites for 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese melts, bubbles, and pepperoni edges become crisp. Monitor closely to avoid burning.
07 - Remove from the oven and allow to cool briefly.
08 - Optionally garnish with chopped parsley and crushed red pepper flakes. Serve warm.
